Appomattox Rescue is driven by our committed volunteers. And we are always looking for individuals who are ready to serve.
Who can volunteer?
Simply put, you can! Our volunteers come from different backgrounds and careers, but they all come together for one cause. Regardless of your interests and skills, we have a place for you.
What is required of me?
Appomattox Recue accepts applications from anyone over the age of 16. Prior to applying, you must be certified in CPR and either EMT or EVOC, or both. If you do not hold these certifications, we hold courses regularly.
The minimum time commitment we ask you make is 24 hours a month. This is broken down into 6-hour increments that are arranged to fit your schedule.
